Dragon Dreaming Consultancy

0.5 – 1 day (Negotiable)

At the completion of the workshop participants will have

1. Received advice, information, training and support for a specific project using the Dragon Dreaming methods
2. Established conditions for possible ongoing further help using Dragon Dreaming approaches
3. Information about the nature of Dragon Dreaming and will know what it can provide for their group
4. Decided if they wish to pursue any of the other Dragon Dreaming Options

Introduction to Dragon Dreaming

2 days and one evening
At the completion of this workshop participants will have

1. Learned of the steps and stages for a successful project, and be able to apply this to their own project
2. Experienced a Dreaming Creation Circle for a Project, and be able to use this to create their own project
3. Have seen how to build a bridge between the Dreaming Circle and the Karabirrdt, through using the Force Field Analysis and Participatory Objective and Goal Settling
4. Understand the principles for an “Empty Centred” Chaordic Organisation, and established a Framework for Key Performance Indicators to do the same
5. Experienced the design of a Karabirrdt for a project, and have some idea on how to use this to create their own participatory design strategy for their project.
6. Created a Project Support Project to follow up and help them with creating their own project

Requirement: Possible attendance at a Dragon Dreaming Presentation.  No other requirements necessary

Outcome: The establishment of one local Project Support Project to support people wishing to do projects.

Dragon Dreaming Intensive

5 days

At the completion of this workshop participants will be able to

1. Undertake a Network Analysis for their project team, and uncover the Song Lines that have brought them together
2. Have conducted a Dreaming Creation Circle for their own Project and understand how it can be used to recruit new members of their team.
3. They will have used Force Field Analysis and Participatory Objective and Goal Setting to lay the foundations for their own project plan.
4. They will have established their own Key Performance Indicators for their project, and have started designing systems by which this unleashes creativity
5. They will have created a Karabirrdt for their project, and used it to begin work on detailed planning of their project
6. They will have planned activities for their project for the next six months and have organized appropriate follow up and further training

Outcome: The establishment of at least 4 six month long projects, which when complete creates a team of people capable of leading a Dragon Dreaming Presentation or Mentoring another person’s Dragon Dreaming Project

Requirement: Attendence at an Introduction to Dragon Dreaming & has a project team

Empowered Fundraising

3 days and one evening

At the completion of this workshop participants will have

1. Experienced a Dreaming Creation Circle for a Project as the basis for a training workshop, and shared a shortened dream circle
2. Discovered the source of our wound about money and fundraising
3. Have discovered the basis of the gift economy, and the gift of leading a meaningful life
4. Have practiced Charismatic Communication as a way of sharing about their project(s), in such a way as to encourage participation
5. Identified their personal balance point as a contribution towards their project, and committed it to their project
6. Have a support system in place including a buddy for followup.
7. Identified the basis of relationship building, seen a role play and have created one for themself
8. Identified alternative fundraising strategies and have insight into the appropriateness of each
9. Learned of the steps and stages for a successful project, and be able to apply this to their own project

Requirement: Possible attendance at a Dragon Dreaming Presentation or other workshop.  No other requirements necessary

Outcome: The establishment of a fundraising project that illustrates its effectiveness in a real setting.

Dragon Dreaming Train the Trainer

6 days

At the completion of this workshop participants will be able to

1. Run a Dragon Dreaming project from start to finish
2. Have raised funds for a project using Empowered Fundraising techniques
3. Advise others on the Dragon Dreaming processes and be able to use them appropriately
4. Cofacilitate in leading a Dragon Dreaming Workshop, Teaching others how to effectively use the Dragon Dreaming Methods
5. Have created the structures necessary for establishing their own Project Support Project for training others in Dragon Dreaming
6. Understand basic training principles helpful in running an effective training session
7. Have established dates by which they will run their first Dragon Dreaming Session

Outcome: A team of people confident enough to establish their own Project Support Project and train others in Dragon Dreaming.  A strong and growing mutual support network of experienced Trainers.

Requirement: Completion of a Project and Mentoring a Project using Dragon Dreaming

Total Training: 50 hours

A History of the Future

1. Learned of the techniques of scenario planning and examined various scenarios if the future currently being considered
2. Learned of world systems theory, and be able to apply a Development Field model to their locality
3. Have learned of Communitywise Auditing and appreciated its power for local Transition initiatives
4. Understand the principles for an “Empty Centred” Chaordic Organisation, and established a Framework for Key Performance Indicators to do the same
5. Learned how to create a Dream Team Project Support Project to follow up and help them with creating their own Communitywise Audit project

Requirement: Possible attendance at a Dragon Dreaming Presentation.  No other requirements necessary

Outcome: The establishment of commitment for Communitywise Auditing for one local project.
